Hello!!!!

I'm back and am trying to organize my thoughts, experiences, etc. so I can coherently and concisely share what happened while I was in Peru. I have decided to do a day-by-day/grouping-of-days kind of posting that mirrors my journaling I did while I was in Peru. Here is just some overall info that will help you understand my madness... :)

There were 2 parts to our trip -

Saturday, July 6 (arrival) to Monday, July 15 (when we left for Cuzco), we were in Lima, Peru. During our time there we went to eight different schools/programs/homes that all had deaf students. In our free time, we also visited/toured two different areas in Lima--Old Lima, and the Pachacamac ruins--and did some shopping.

Monday, July 15, to Friday, July 19, we were in Cuzco, Peru. This was pure tourism as we visited historical sites in Cuzco, the Sacred Valley of the Incas, and Macchu Picchu. We flew back to Lima on Friday, July 19, and flew out of Lima to come back to the U.S. on Saturday, July 20.

This is just a quick, factual summation of the trip - the details will be in the individual posts I make going forward. It will be impossible for me to include all the details of everything that happened, but if you want to know them, I am MORE THAN HAPPY to tell you individually or in groups. There is just no way I am going to remember everything as I'm writing. I would have to go back multiple times and keep editing my posts everytime I remember something I forgot to write. :)

To premise everything I'm going to post, I want to say the HUGEST THANK YOU to everyone who prayed for me, for this trip, for the team members, etc. It was very clear that God was there with us during this trip and I look forward to what may come in the future. :)
